RED

RED (short for Rogers Eckersley Design) is an award-winning design studio based in New York City. We provide a diverse range of services for our clients, and come up with interesting, relevant ideas for their projects. Our work has been featured in publications like Baseline, New Masters of Poster Design, Step Inside Design, New Vintage Type, and 2008 AIGA Design Annual.

Stuart Rogers, co-founder

Stuart has been active in the design field for close to 15 years—for the past four as co-founder of Rogers Eckersley Design. In 2004, he received an MFA in Design from the School of Visual Arts, and went on to work on projects for New York’s bid for the 2012 Olympics, the Brand Integration Group at Ogilvy & Mather, and Russell Design Associates where he was senior designer. From 2004 to 2006, he lent his efforts to the AIGA Mentor program which was founded to help students discover the possibilities of design. Stuart is currently a member of the adjunct faculty at FIT where he teaches typography and graphic design portfolio. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two kids.

Sam Eckersley, co-founder

Before co-founding RED, Sam worked in London, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York, most recently at SpotCo, one of the world’s leading arts and live entertainment advertising and branding agencies. Prior to joining SpotCo, Sam worked at Milton Glaser, Inc. as well as the National Football League, where he focused on brand development and led the design of the 2003 NFL Kickoff campaign. He is co-founder of Monday Mashup, a monthly speaker series for the graphic design industry. After graduating from the University of Nebraska in 1998, Sam went on to earn an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, where he also taught advanced design. He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Courtney and son Henry.
